Does anyone have any tips on helping me break 27 seconds in my 50 Free? I already stretch out my arm pretty well, and my kicking is all right, but does anyone have any tips on how to get in the 26 seconds margin?

one thing that helped me improve my fly and free sprints was improving my stamina. I did so because I learned that surfacing in order to breathe actually lowers your speed quite a lot (I once heard that freestyle sprinters surface only one or two times in a race).
I still breathe about 3 times when I do the 50 free and about 5-6 times when I swim 50 fly, but I do feel the difference.

Another tip I could suggest is to improve your start and underwater phase.
Read this article for more information about start techniques.

It is important to mention that when at sea level, water is 784 times more dense than air, so it is logical to assume you will be travelling at your highest speed before you hit the water. Try to use this speed to either travel as far as possible outside the water or to strengthen your dolphin kick.

The underwater phase is the second quickest part of the race. It is also an economical phase because dolphin kicks only involves the legs and the abs and allows your hands to rest a little more.
Though the correlation is not yet proven, statistics has shown that the first swimmer at the 7.5 and 15 meter line, is usually the winner too.
Being a good jumper and knowing how to utilize the underwater phase also holds the psychological advantage of starting the race when everyone else is behind you.

My starting technique: kick for as far as you can, but do start "normal" swimming before you need to breathe (for I found that breathing during your first stroke cycle, when your legs are a bit lower than your hands and torso creates drag that will cause you to lose speed. This also takes us back to the first tip).

Hope this was useful for you.
