Breaststroke taper

I wondered if any coaches out there taper their breaststrokers differently than their other swimmers. I am most concerned about maintaining leg/kick endurance during a taper. Usually our sprinters ease up on kick sets signifuicantly during a taper. During the season I have my breaststrokers bike for about 30 minutes 2-3 times a week and kick an average of 1,000 yards a day. I have thought about maintaining the bike (less intense) and easing up on the kick during the taper. Any thoughts?

It should be different, and it should also be based on the distance. You can't taper a 200m breaststroker the same way as a 100m breaststroker. Usually we do lots of kick, a few sprints, lots of tech work and rp work.
