My daughter (11) has difficulty pointing her toes on Free and Backstrokes. Are there specific drills that will help? Would training fins help? Breast is her strongest stroke and she tends to rely on her upper body to power her other strokes. Her feet tend to drag behind and appear to actually be slowing her down as they drag like rudders. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. -Mike |

Lots of exercises on the site for helping with flexibility. One you could try is to get her to kneel down and gradually sit back on to her heels to flatten the top of her foot down to the floor. Do it gradually though. |
