Im just asking this because I want to swim d2 for Nova Southeastern, but im pretty sure that my times arent good enough yet. Here are my times from last year -
Here are my times so far this year -
Is it possible for me to drop to a 54 in my fly and a high 21 in my free after tapering? I have around a month left until the season is over. I would really appreaciate any advice. |

Here are all the qualifying standards in NCAA D2. http://theswimmerscircle.com/files/2011/08... A two second drop at that level and that race is very unlikely so quickly, even with the taper. The fly even more unlikely.. a six second drop? I wouldn't be too sure. Sorry if I discouraged you, just being realistic here. Make sure to shave as well before your big meet, it will benefit a lot. Hope I helped you a little bit. Just stay motivated regardless what you think the outcome will be! |
