Inspired by Barbara's Groundhog day practice. While maybe not as creative, it's all in the delivery.

Well... the water was freezing, so sometimes you have to abandon a regular workout plan, and improvise to keep people moving.
Our Masters team did a big set on New Year's Day (100 swims on 1:15), so today was a recovery day with no sendoffs and lots of swimming with FINS
In remembrance of Armistice Day (11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month) and in honor of those who serve or have served their country, here's a practice that combines something for each branch of the military. Coaches are the Coast Guard!
If you go backwards when you try to do dolphin kick on your back, here's a mini set that helps you get a feel for what you need to do to move FORWARD.
I have to be honest, I swam twice yesterday, and once this morning... and can't remember much of what I did.
This morning's practice did allow me to continue to work on my standard pace... which is always good.
With all the snow, the normal pool was closed again today, so I had to venture to the local Y to put some time in.
I almost feel like I may be able to start categorizing these practices as Gold... but not yet.
Loved the pool this morning. First time it was turned the other direction. It was the same distance, but it was nice to be swimming the other way. Small changes make me happy. :)
With over 20 inches of snow on the ground, just getting to the pool this morning was a chore.
Back to basics first, then long pace-setting set.
We are a group of swimmers who swim really fast, and like to help others learn how to reach their competitive potential in the area of professional swimming.
